As the planning of Design Cincinnati Presented by ClearArc Capital has been one part hard work, one part serendipity, and one part gifts of friendship. We're so grateful to all of those who have pitched in to make this event so special. And when you walk in the doors at the Smale Pavilion on October 13th, we know you'll see all of the unique touches and attention to detail that will make the day one you won't quickly forget. Many people have gotten involved, each with a specific task or talent. And some of gotten involved, sharing their talents in so many different ways. In thanking our friends, sponsors, and pop up boutique owners, we have to send our special thanks to Alyson Johnson of Alyson Johnson Creative and Grey Borneman of Grey Hall Design.
Alyson Johnson is a new member of the Association of Volunteers. She jumped in right away, lending us her artistic flair in designing this very website. Yet this is the tip of the talent iceberg. Alyson is a fine artist, whose work will be featured in our pop up shops. You'll want to browse through her pop up shop and find that perfect piece of art for your home. Alyson works on commission, too and is able to create for you a piece of art that is just perfect for your home.
Grey Borneman's roots with the Association of Volunteers run deep. Her mother was also a dedicated volunteer with our group. Grey has been involved with us for years, and we're so appreciative of her help this year in updating our logo, giving our Angel Gabriel symbol a beautiful, watercolor refresh. Who better than Grey to help us honor our past as we enter this new era of style! Grey is also a talented artist--you've probably seen her adorable dog calendars and scarves around town this year. She has more for sale on her Etsy Shop (https://www.etsy.com/people/GreyHallDesign). You'll be in for a treat at our event this year where you can shop at Grey's pop up shop.
Thank you, ladies, for being our friend--and so much more.
